What is a Home Watch service?

According to the National Home Watch Association, a Home Watch service is designed to give you peace of mind while you are away from your home. Your home is inspected by professionals looking for any potential problems. Most companies will design a checklist based on your individual needs and concerns. If a situation does arise, you will be notified so the problem can be dealt with in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Why do I need a Home Watch service?

Your home or vacation property is a very valuable asset and investment. Would you trust your 401K to your neighbor Fred? We are a professional, licensed, bonded, insured and accredited company that will do a thorough inspection of your property and report back to you using GPS enabled software. Let's see Fred do that!

How do I know if you are actually visiting my home?

Great question! We use GPS enabled software to prove that your inspection was done while we were on your property.

How do I know if there is a problem?

Signature Home Watch will monitor your property regularly and will report any issues to you immediately. With our 25 point inspection report, you can be assured that everything is being checked. Click here for a list of items we inspect.

Is a Home Watch service a security service?

Not as a rule. According to The National Home Watch Association, having a visible presence in your empty home may act as a crime deterrent. Most Home Watch companies answer alarm calls and are familiar to local law enforcement.

Can you help me with household tasks other than checking on my property?

Absolutely! Signature Home Watch will accept deliveries on your behalf, forward important mail and even head to the grocery store for you. Click here to view more on our Concierge Services.

Will you do storm prep in the event of a hurricane?

Living in Florida in the summer can always bring the threat of a hurricane or tropical storm. We will secure outside furniture on your property and meet your contractor to install hurricane shutters, or refer you to one of our vendors. Click here to view more on our Hurricane Prep Service.

Can I request a special visit?

Yes, you absolutely can. If you feel the need for an additional visit or a neighbor saw something you want us to check on, we will be more than happy to check on your home. After all, we are your eyes and ears when you're not here.
